SUMMARY:2nd Summer Institute in Statistics and Modeling in Infectious Diseases
DTSTART:20100614T210500Z
DTEND:20100630T210500Z
DESCRIPTION:The Institute consists of a series of two-and-a-half day w
orkshops designed to introduce infectious disease researchers to moder
n methods of statistical analysis and mathematical modeling and to int
roduce statisticians and mathematical modelers to the statistical and
dynamic problems posed by modern infectious disease data. Prerequisite
s are minimal\, and the modular nature of the Institute enables partic
ipants to design a program best suited to their backgrounds and intere
sts. Most participants will likely take two or three modules.
