Susan Haynes cDNA and genomic libraries are shipped in dry ice (UN1845). The bacterial libraries are sent as a stab culture at ambient temperature. The human serum and Bm14 antigen, provided by the FRRRC, are (Biological substance, Category B, UN 3373) substances affecting humans. Shipping within the U.S. is through Federal Express (FedEx). Shipping to other countries can only be done via FedEx because they are the only carrier that allows us to ship dry ice and dangerous goods shipments.
