Organization of Molecular Resources
The NIAID/NIH FR3 Center--Molecular Resources Division was launched in Dr. Steven Williams's laboratory at Smith College , Northampton, MA, in September 2003. The primary goals of the Center are to:
- distribute molecular reagents to the filarial research community,
- develop new molecular reagents that will be useful to the research community,
- develop and make available new molecular methods in filarial research, and
- to coordinate and distribute information and data useful to the filarial research community as a whole (for example, progress and results using the new Brugia microarrays).
