New FR3 Website!

Description of new FR3 website, default view.

Welcome!

The expanding services of the FR3 now include an updated website designed to meet the changing needs of the filarial research community.  Our new site includes:

  • descriptions of the roles of the three FR3 sites
  • more protocols for organismal and molecular work
  • data analysis resources for filarial bioinformatics
  • links to a wide array of nematode and symbiosis web resources

We invite you to contribute to our site by providing suggestions, protocols, and images/video to Shelly Michalski (michalsk@uwosh.edu).

FR3 Logo Contest

Do you have underutilized artistic skills?  We're calling on all FR3 users to help us design a logo that can be used on official communications, advertisements and displays.  Check out the logo used by the NIH NIAID MR4 (Malaria Research and Reference Reagent Resource Center) for inspiration.  The winner of our contest will not only have the honor of their creation symbolizing the FR3, but will also win a FANTASTIC prize that will make them the envy of all their peers - a T shirt silkscreened with the new logo!  Submit all entries to Shelly Michalski (michalsk@uwosh.edu) by February 1, 2010.

Coming soon in 2010!!!!

A new web site section completely devoted to exceptional pictures and videos of filariasis, filarial worms, and their vectors.  Want to show off your favorite captured images?  Please submit your entries to Shelly Michalski (michalsk@uwosh.edu).
